Fist Hold

This hold is also called the Cup Hold, as the shape of the hand is as if you were holding a large mug’s handle.

Form a fist, with the fingers knuckles held in a vertical line so the index finger and thumb are on top.

Place the ball on the slight dip formed near the end of the index finger.

Mostly, this hold is used as part of a group of holds flowing into each other – it can look very good to “flourish” the ball with a series of holds.
